SNAP begins in Chamonix in 1996 when "Snapman"* decides to combine his engineering skills with his passion for mountain sports : this is when SNAP is born, an exclusive brand dedicated to rock-climbing.

"Snapwoman", a professional graphic designer, is joining him in this adventure. Their goal : promoting the development of rock-climbing and fulfil climbers' requirements as much as possible by manufacturing innovative and stylish products. Their approach is based on spontaneous, sometimes non-conventional communication that emphasises the passion for climbing.
